They lived at 10 and 12 Wandsworth Road at time of marriage.

1881 Census have been unable to locate James and Elizabeth, David and Louisa. Living at 18 King Street is James and Elizbeth Whiles, parents of Elizabeth Whiles above married to James Gibb.

1891 Census has the family living at 18 King Street, Lambeth. The same address where in 1881 James Whiles and Elizabeth Whiles (parents of Elizabeth Whiles) lived. Jam(es) Gibb(s) is a General Dealer born in Scotland, Eliza is from Lambeth.

1901 Census indicates all children born at Surrey, Wandsworth. James was a Green Grocer. Both James and Elizabeth born in Scotland. Other records indicate Elizabeth Whiles born in Lambeth. They were living at 2 Warple Road, Wandsworth.

1911 Census Jim Gibb is a widow - previously married 22 years, had 9 children of which 2 are dead and 7 living. He was born in Scotland and is a green grocer living at 51 Warple Way with daughter Nellie who is 15 and a laundry maid.

Ellen married her first husband Edward Albert Pearson in 1916. She was living in Wandsworth at the time. Her father, James Gibb was alive, a master Green Grocer.

Some records are registered under Gibb others as Gibbs. Grandma Ellen is noted as Ellen Gibb.
