- Staffordshire Mail List Without the assistance of the extremely helpful folks on the Staffordshire Mail List I would have been halted many times. A Brown Edge History, was published in memory of Alan Pointon [married to Ethel Sherratt], father of Margaret [Pointon] Garwood. Compiled and Edited by Elizabeth Lawton.

The book was available at Churnet Valley Books, Picture Book Shops. You can call to order a copy. A must for anyone connected to the village of Brown Edge.
