A Brown Edge History, was published in memory of Alan Pointon, father of Margaret [Pointon] Garwood. Compiled and Edited by Elizabeth Lawton. Many Sherratts are mentioned in the book along with photos and history. The book was available at Churnet Valley Books, Picture Book Shops. You can call to order a copy. A must for anyone connected to the village of Brown Edge. Note: This book is getting harder and harder to find.
